Harder is inviting his constituents to nominate a Latino community member of any age or profession who has made a positive impact on the Valley.

WASHINGTON – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) today introduced the Apprenticeships to College Act, which would expand a program allowing skilled workers to earn college credit for apprenticeships they've already completed. In California, most apprenticeships last one to five years, meaning although skilled professionals have already spent a substantial amount of time studying for their career, many are not eligible for college credit.

WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) introduced the Safe Indoor Spaces Act to provide incentives to spur private-sector development of new technologies that can make indoor spaces safe to inhabit during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Although vaccines and treatments are in development, these remedies could take months to complete, achieve approval, and distribute. Rep. Harder's bill would provide a parallel track for developing complementary methods for protecting people during the pandemic.

WASHINGTON – In response to continuing service delay issues with the United States Postal Service (USPS), Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) has sent a letter to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, urging the service to address delays of life-saving medicines. Despite promises from the Postmaster General to resolve service issues, deliveries of medicine to Central Valley residents continue to be delayed. The problem is uniquely concerning in the Valley, where more than half a million people have asthma.

Modesto, CA – Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) announced the winners of the 2020 Congressional Art Competition. The Grand Prize-winning student, Martha Wenstrup of Turlock, will have her work "Read Between the Lines" displayed in the United States Capitol Complex for an entire year and receive a free trip to Washington, D.C. to celebrate her achievement after the Coronavirus Pandemic has ended. "This cowardly ambush is heartbreaking to see, and the perpetrator should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This is another reminder of the risks that our brave law enforcement officers take every day to keep us safe.
