Costs
Take our quick 5-second costs survey.
When I was growing up in the Valley, it was affordable to live and raise kids here. But now, prices are skyrocketing - from housing and utilities to gas and groceries. Our families simply can't afford this.
I'm fed up so we're doing something about it. I'm leading the fight to stop PG&E from constantly raising their rates. I've also called on Washington and Sacramento to suspend the gas tax.
And finally, we have to get healthcare costs under control. We recently capped the price of insulin at $35/month but we can't stop there. We have to keep pushing to lower the cost of all life saving drugs.
By lowering everyday costs and bringing more good-paying jobs to San Joaquin County, I know can make it affordable to raise a family again.
