Stockton Food Bank Cuts

STOCKTON, Calif. — Food banks and school districts are losing more than a billion dollars nationwide, as part of the Trump administration's cuts to federal spending.

One of the places impacted is the Stockton Food Bank. They have lost their federal food assistance funding.

Those cuts are now impacting how the food bank will serve the community.

Hundreds of cars line up every day in Stockton to get food, but now with federal cuts comes a lot of uncertainty.

Sideshows have turned deadly.

These informal car meets where large crowds of people gather to watch drivers do donuts, burnouts and other stunts have become a common sight and sound in California.

They are hotbeds for criminal activity, police claim. This year, at least three people were shot to death at Stockton sideshows.
