Harder Honors Assyrian New Year with Congressional Resolution
MODESTO —Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) introduced a resolution into the Congressional Record in honor of Kha b’Neesan, the Assyrian New Year. Rep. Harder’s resolution recognizes the incredible contributions of the Assyrian-American community, honors the importance of this day for Assyrians around the world, joins the Assyrian community in celebration, and wishes all who observe the holiday a healthy and prosperous new year.
“Happy New Year to our Assyrian community here in the Valley and to all those celebrating around the world,” said Rep. Harder. “Today, I’m proud to honor the achievements and resiliency of the Assyrian community, and to submit a resolution in the Congressional Record that celebrates the Assyrian New Year.”
