WASHINGTON – In response to continuing service delay issues with the United States Postal Service (USPS), Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) has sent a letter to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, urging the service to address delays of life-saving medicines. Despite promises from the Postmaster General to resolve service issues, deliveries of medicine to Central Valley residents continue to be delayed. The problem is uniquely concerning in the Valley, where more than half a million people have asthma.

Modesto, CA – Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) announced the winners of the 2020 Congressional Art Competition. The Grand Prize-winning student, Martha Wenstrup of Turlock, will have her work "Read Between the Lines" displayed in the United States Capitol Complex for an entire year and receive a free trip to Washington, D.C. to celebrate her achievement after the Coronavirus Pandemic has ended. "This cowardly ambush is heartbreaking to see, and the perpetrator should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This is another reminder of the risks that our brave law enforcement officers take every day to keep us safe.

WASHINGTON – In response to plans by the United States Census Bureau to cut short this year's Census count, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) demanded that the Bureau reverse its decision so a complete count can be achieved. The Census Bureau initially planned to conduct in-person surveys through the end of October – but recently announced plans to end the count a month earlier – at the end of September. Approximately 30 percent of Rep. Harder's constituents still have not been counted – and across the country nearly four in ten remain uncounted.

Modesto, CA – On Tuesday, August 25th at 5:30 PM Pacific Time, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) will host an information session to assist students interested in attending a military academy. Applications are due on October 31st, but Rep. Harder encourages students to attend the info session and apply early. Every academy besides the U.S. Coast Guard Academy requires a Congressional nomination. This year's event will happen remotely to comply with social distance requirements.

WASHINGTON – This week, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) and the largest veterans groups in the United States announced a final effort to secure coverage for Vietnam Veterans exposed to Agent Orange but who are unable to access support from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
