WASHINGTON – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) demanded the resignation of Labor Secretary Alex Acosta in the following statement.

"Alex Acosta has been letting sex traffickers off the hook for years – he should resign immediately. Jeffrey Epstein's is not an isolated case – Alex Acosta's Department of Labor has also taken steps to undermine federal sex trafficking investigations.

"It's 2019 – it's long past time that we hold perpetrators of sexual misconduct – and their defenders – accountable."

In addition to the 11 in-person town halls, Rep. Harder has already held one Facebook Live town hall and one telephone town hall.

Modesto, CA – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) will return to the Modesto Band (MoBand) to play as a percussionist for the group's Patriotic Spectacular on July 3rd at Graceada Park. Rep. Harder played the drums in the group while he was a student at Modesto High School. MoBand is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and the Patriotic Spectacular will feature musicians of all ages.

WASHINGTON – Representatives Josh Harder (CA-10), Rob Wittman (VA-1), Grace Napolitano (CA-32), and Morgan Griffith (VA-9) today introduced the Water Resources Research Amendments Act. The bill would reauthorize an expired program which supports local water research institutes that solve problems regarding water quantity and quality in collaboration with universities, local governments, the water industry, and the public.

It's unclear if the administration will have sufficient time to argue the case before Census forms are printed later this year, making it unlikely that the question will ultimately appear on the Census.

WASHINGTON – Representative Josh Harder released the following statement urging Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to double down on their public engagement to ensure our communities are prepared in the face of potential multi-day power shutoffs resulting from dangerous wildfire conditions. WASHINGTON – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) has asked President Trump to reconsider additional tariffs on Chinese goods, including printed goods from China which would increase prices on Bibles. More than half of the Bibles produced in the world originate in China because of the specialized printing processes involved. Unless Bibles are excluded from the tariffs, churches, religious schools, and other organizations would be forced to pay more for scripture.
