WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) announced that Central Valley venues have received over $3,800,000 in federal COVID grants through the Shuttered Venue Operator Grant (SVOG) program. Last month, Rep. Harder pushed the Biden administration to speed up delivery of these critical grants to Valley stages, bars, movie theaters, museums and concert halls.

WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) is encouraging Central Valley families who don't normally file taxes to use the IRS' new non-filer tool to claim the benefits they deserve. More than 90% of kids in Rep. Harder's district will benefit from these new direct payments of up to $3,600 for kids under 6 and $3,000 for kids under 18. Rep. Harder voted to pass the expanded Child Tax Credit through the American Rescue Plan this spring.

WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) sent a letter to US Citizenship and Immigration Services Acting Director Tracy Renaud pressing for an end to DACA processing delays currently afflicting the agency. During the latest reported period, the agency approved less than 2% of all DACA applications it received. This means that almost 55,000 Dreamers are currently in limbo, waiting for their DACA status to be confirmed.
