WASHINGTON – After holding 18 in-person town halls with constituents in the Central Valley, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) will hold his fifth telephone town hall tomorrow. These events allow residents of the 10^th Congressional District a chance to ask questions, get answers, and get help with federal agencies. The event will begin tomorrow, November 19^th, at 6:00 PM Pacific time and last about an hour.

WASHINGTON – Continuing efforts to root out corruption in Washington, Representatives Josh Harder (CA-10) and Max Rose (NY-11) introduced the Ban Corporate PACs Act, which would ban all corporate Political Action Committees (PACs). In the 2018 election cycle, corporate PACs gave more than $400 million to federal campaigns.

WASHINGTON – In a letter, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) asked the House Energy and Commerce Committee to hold a hearing on the failures of public utilities, such as Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) to invest in its infrastructure in the face of changing climate conditions and the frequency of extreme weather events. WASHINGTON – Representative Josh Harder's bipartisan Protecting Families of Fallen Servicemembers Act has passed the House of Representatives on a unanimous bipartisan vote. The bill will allow the families of fallen and critically injured servicemembers to end their phone, cable, or internet contracts without being financially penalized. Ohio Republican Brad Wenstrup joined Rep. Harder to introduce the bill.

WASHINGTON – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) released the following statement as the Supreme Court heard oral arguments regarding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The program, created under the Obama Administration, protects over 10,000 young people in the Central Valley.

This town hall will be focused on the issue of health care in the Valley. This event comes only a week after Rep. Harder's legislation to bring up to 10,000 more doctors to California passed the House Education and Labor Committee.

Modesto, CA - ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8^TH AT 10:00 AM – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) in partnership with Modesto Junior College, will host a veterans' job fair in Modesto. The event will give veterans a chance to meet with local employers as well as get help with interview preparation and resume review.
