The bill would create a new grant program to support coordination between community mental health centers and law enforcement officers on mental health issues including homelessness and public safety.

WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Josh Harder announced that he has introduced an amendment alongside Reps. Garamendi & McNerney to stop the Delta Tunnel Project and protect Central Valley water. Specifically, the amendment will prohibit the Army Corps of Engineers from issuing a Clean Water Act (Section 404) permit for the state of California's Delta Conveyance Project (tunnel) which would export water out of the Delta.

The bipartisan bill, the Preventing Auto Recycling Thefts (PART) Act, will codify catalytic converter crimes as criminal offenses, enhance law enforcement officers’ abilities to track converters, and help stop black market converter sales.

Elise Stefanik and Ben Cline. Specifically, the bill makes it easier for employers to provide child and elder care assistance to their workers by eliminating a regulatory barrier that discourages employers from offering these benefits.
WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Josh Harder announced the Stanislaus County Office of Education will receive a $2,977,201 grant for its Early Head Start program. Early Head Start provides comprehensive child development and family support services to infants and toddlers and their families, as well as to pregnant women and their families.
