"My heart breaks for the lives lost and homes destroyed by the violence in Israel. I condemn Hamas' indiscriminate attacks on peaceful men, women, and children. Israel has the right to defend herself against these attacks. Extremist forces in Jerusalem also must show restraint rather than escalate this violence. It's time to deescalate this crisis and secure a ceasefire in order to keep innocent Israelis and Palestinians safe."
WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) voted to pass the Comprehensive Debt Collection Improvement Act, which will provide important protections for Central Valley servicemembers, small businesses, students, and others against mistreatment and harassment by debt collectors. Importantly, this bill specifically bars debt collectors from threatening to reduce the rank or revoke the security clearance of American men and women in uniform.

Businesses can access the amount equal to lost revenue during the pandemic up to $10 million.
WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) announced that Tracy's International Park of Commerce will receive a grant of $8.35 million to make significant infrastructure improvements. This Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) Grant will be matched with $2.1 million in local investment and is expected to create 2,145 jobs, retain 6,734 jobs, and generate $459 million in private investment.
