Harder to Host Emergency Telephone Town Hall in Response to Spike in Coronavirus Cases in Central Valley

June 25, 2020

Town Hall will Include Special Guest, Supervisors Kristen Olsen and Kathy Miller

Modesto, CA – In response to the surge in Coronavirus cases and hospitalizations in his district, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) will hold an emergency telephone town hall with County Supervisors Kristen Olsen (Stanislaus County) and Kathy Miller (San Joaquin County) to offer updates and discuss the counties' response. Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties have seen the largest three-day hospitalization increases in the State of California over the past few days. This is the sixth telephone town hall open to the public that Rep. Harder has held since the beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic in early March.

The event will take place on Monday, June 29th at 5:30 PM PST. Constituents can call into the event at 1-888-886-6603.

Representative Harder, one of the most accessible members of Congress, has continued to remain available to constituents during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Since the week of March 9th, Rep. Harder has held more than a dozen public events to allow his constituents to stay in touch and get help. These events have included five previous telephone town halls, one of which was bilingual, Facebook Live town halls, a webinar with over 300 small business owners, and a webinar with Valley farmers and agricultural business owners.
