Harder to Hold Coronavirus Telephone Town Hall with San Joaquin County Public Health Services

Modesto, CA – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) will hold a second emergency telephone town hall with his constituents and special guests from San Joaquin County Public Health Services. The event will provide answers to many frequently asked questions.

The event will take place today, March 23rd from 1:30-2:30 Pacific Time.

Representative Harder is one of the most accessible members of Congress in the country according to a report by the nonpartisan Town Hall Project. Since taking office in January, Rep. Harder has hosted 18 town halls, 20 office hours events, six telephone town halls, and a Facebook Live town hall.

Representative Harder is a leader on efforts to respond to the Coronavirus. His Paid Sick Leave Credit Act was signed into law last week by the President. That bill will allocate tax credits to employers that provide paid sick leave to employees affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Last week, he also announced the Universal Coronavirus Vaccine Act, which will guarantee universal access to the vaccine regardless of insurance status.
