The bill would provide doctors in the United States on H-1B Visas to remain here – even if they are laid off – until 60 days after the end of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Modesto, CA – After a worker at Tracy's Amazon fulfillment center died from complications of the Coronavirus, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) sent a letter to Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos asking for answers. Amazon has been repeatedly criticized for failing to establish clear worker protections, not proactively disclosing employee illnesses at its distribution centers, and firing employees for expressing concern about these conditions.

WASHINGTON – In response to the economic chaos caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) has asked the Department of Education to take deliberate steps to ensure students can update their family's financial information in the student loan application process. The Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) currently uses a family's tax filings from previous years to estimate family contributions to a student's college tuition.

Modesto, CA – Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) has asked the Chairman of the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Crisis to improve the Coronavirus economic stimulus program to include other dependents. The original round of funding provided $500 for dependent children under the age of 17, meaning families with children between 17-24 were denied additional assistance.

Modesto, CA –After leading a bipartisan effort alongside over 80 of his colleagues, Representative Josh Harder (CA-10) announced that farmers are now explicitly qualified to receive emergency aid assistance under the Small Business Administration's (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. This change will allow farmers to access up to $10,000 in grants and $2 million in super low-interest loans.
