***NEW EVENT*** Harder Announces Public In-Person Town Hall on Delta Tunnel Water Grab January 18th

“If the bureaucrats won’t host a town hall to hear from our community on this disastrous proposal, I will.”
WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-9) announced that he will host an in-person town hall focused on the Delta Tunnel project and water issues in the Central Valley on Wednesday, January 18th at 6:00 PM in French Camp. Rep. Harder is hosting this event in stark contrast to the Army Corps of Engineers, who refuse to host an in-person public event to hear community concern as it relates to the Delta Tunnel project, despite repeatedcalls to do so from Rep. Harder and the community.
The event will feature Rep. Harder as well as water experts from across San Joaquin County. After opening remarks, members of the community will have the opportunity to make their voices heard as it relates to the Delta Tunnel project. Rep. Harder’s office will then pass that feedback on directly to the Army Corps of Engineers.
“Washington and Sacramento have ignored our community for decades and their refusal to hear our community’s voice on the Delta Tunnel water grab is yet another reminder of that fact,” said Rep. Harder. “I’m hosting this town hall to ensure everyone in our community has the opportunity to stand up and speak out on this disastrous project. If the bureaucrats won’t host a town hall to hear from our community on this disastrous proposal, I will.”
