Harder Wins US Chamber of Commerce Advocate for American Business Award
Award is given to members of Congress with strong records of working across the aisle for American businesses
WASHINGTON – Today, Representative Josh Harder announced that he has won the US Chamber of Commerce’s Advocate for American Business Award. The award recognizes Rep. Harder’s strong track record of working across the aisle to support Central Valley businesses and create good paying jobs. This is Rep. Harder’s third consecutive award from the US Chamber of Commerce. He was awarded the Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America Award in both 2020 and 2021.
“I’m laser focused on bringing more good paying jobs to this community, and I’m honored to be recognized for that work,” said Rep. Harder. “Every worker in the Valley should have a good job close to home, and every student in our community should grow up knowing there’s work for them right here in the Valley. We’ll keep working until we make that a reality.”
“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to present Congressman Josh Harder with the Advocate for American Business award in recognition of his legislative efforts in support of the business community,” said U.S. Chamber Western Region Vice President Jennings Imel. “Congressman Harder led the fight to defeat the stepped-up basis tax on family farms. As a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, he also played a key role in securing bipartisan support for historic infrastructure investments.”
