St. Mary’s High School brings home Stockton’s first ever State Football Championship

STOCKTON – Rep. Josh Harder (CA-09) recognized St. Mary’s High School’s varsity football team for their 2025 CIF State Championship season, celebrating a historic first for both the school and the City of Stockton. Rep. Harder presented two Congressional Resolutions to honor the student athletes and the leadership of Head Coach Tony Franks.

“Stockton showed the entire state what heart, discipline, and teamwork look like,” said Rep. Harder. “I’m grateful to join the community in celebrating the accomplishments of the team, coaches, and everyone who helped make this season historic.”

Harder was joined by students from the St. Mary’s football team, coaching staff, and athletic department leadership at St. Mary’s high school.
