Harder Now Accepting Applications for Nomination to US Service Academies

July 19, 2024

STOCKTON – Today, Representative Josh Harder (CA-9) announced his office is accepting applications for US service academy nominations for the Class of 2029. Applications are due by October 31, 2024, at 5 PM PST. To attend one of the nation's prestigious military academies, a student must first be nominated by their member of Congress.

"We have some of the best and brightest students here in San Joaquin County. It’s an honor to help them reach their dreams and attend our country’s service academies,” said Rep. Harder. “Meeting these nominees is one of the best parts of my job – I encourage anyone interested in serving our country to apply.”

America's military academies include:

The United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York.

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) in Annapolis, Maryland.

The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) in Kings Point, New York.
