Harder Delivers $255,000 to Tracy Police Department

Funds will go toward identifying and tracing vehicles involved in criminal activity, including human trafficking and drug smuggling

WASHINGTON – This week, Representative Josh Harder delivered a $255,000 check to the Tracy Police Department to fund a new project that assists law enforcement officers in identifying and tracking vehicles involvedin criminal activity, including human trafficking and drug smuggling. Rep. Harder personally secured these funds through the Federal Community Project Funding process.

“This funding means police in my hometown of Tracy now have new tools to fight human trafficking and drug smuggling in the Valley,” said Rep. Harder. “Our police and sheriffs keep our community safe, and I’m proud to have their backs in Congress.
