Harder Announces $17 Million for Central California Migrant Head Start

Program serves more than 700 Valley children each year

WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Josh Harder announced that $17,026,543 in federal funds is heading to the Central California Migrant Head Start Program, which serves more than 700 children in the Central Valley each year.

 

“We have some of the brightest young people in the world here in our Valley, and I’m committed to bringing them the resources they need to succeed,” said Rep. Harder. “Today, I’m proud to announce that we’re bringing home over $17 million in federal funding, which will serve hundreds of kids across our community.”

Rep. Harder is a proud champion of the Head Start program. Last year, he announced a grant of more than $32 million for Central California Migrant Head Start. Read more about the program here.
